Skydive City Brewfest, Sat. October 25th, 2014. Tasting 3:00 to 7:00 p.m.

Calling all Tampa Bay Area “Beer Lovers” and friends looking to have a blast sampling some of the best Commercial Craft Beers and Home Brewed Beers in Central Florida. First time observers will be blown away by watching World Class Canopy Piloting Competitors “Swoop the Pond” at speeds between 80 to 90 M.P.H.

The paid admission includes your own commemorative sampling glass, unlimited yes / but “responsible” sampling of almost “50” unique beers and hard ciders, free parking, plus entry to the after party with three live bands including TEER, E-Z and the Man and the J.D. Sparks Band playing from 7:30 till Midnight.

Do you have friends that say, “I’m not really into craft beer”, bring them along as everyone is welcome and non-tasting patrons / observers / concert goers will only be charged a $5.00 band donation fee. The Sunset Bar will open at 1;00 p.m. and will be serving most mainstream beers, wine, other adult beverages and food will be available.

Several well known Commercial Craft Brewers scheduled to pour multiple creations are as follows: Six Ten Brewing, Big Storm Brewing, Two Henry’s, Bastet Brewpub, Darwin Brewing and more. Zephyrhills resident Robert Hilferding, the A.H.A. Home Brewer of the year for 2014 will also be featured offering two new styles and competing against several other home brewers for the “peoples choice ” award.

Our final chapter brings us back home to the United States. We will discuss the lasting effects of Prohibition in the United States and how brewing culture changed forever. We will taste through various styles of the rising craft beer movement and discuss challenges ahead.
