Booth’s Brewing is hosting a beer rally for homebewers, beer lovers and anyone else who wants to learn more about beer! Come join us at Booth’s Brewing along with some of Tampa Bay’s homebrew clubs. We will have some homebrewing classes, demonstrations, and plenty of great beer to try! We are also excited to have some of Tampa’s newest breweries: Three Palms Brewing, Zeke’s Brewing and E.S.B Brewing right next door! Come drink some great beers from some of the newest local breweries in Tampa and learn more about that frothy delicious beverage we call beer!

Starting March 2nd and all throughout Tampa Bay Beer Week, enjoy $4 pints of Boston Lager and Alpine Spring. Every pint ordered gets a raffle ticket for a pour of Samuel Adams Utopias. On Friday March 8th at 10 pm we will draw five lucky winners who win a Sam Adams prize pack and a pour of Utopias!

Come join us Friday March 8th at Southernbrewing &; Winemaking and sample over hundreds of homebrewed beers entered into the Best Florida Beer Championship. The BFBC Homebrew Championships is very popular. Recent years have seen the number of entries grow to over 500, which means we receive more than 1500 bottles of beer! In the process of the competition, only one or two bottles are open for judging purposes. That means we are often left with over 800 beers which are often thrown out! But instead of throwing these beers out we have decided to share these bottles with you. Some come join us for the Best Florida Beer Championship Leftover Party. In addition to the fine homebrew beers that will be available, there will be a “So You Want to be a Beer Judge” seminar to learn how the Beer Judge Certification Program works and how you can become a beer judge yourself. There will be local homebrew clubs to talk to and signing up new members. Also local favorite food truck Nate Paul’s Q4U will be there serving up his amazing BBQ. Local guest taps will be available for individual purchase from Seventh Sun, Cigar City, Tampa Bay Beer Company, and St. Somewhere, as well as Southern Brewery’s amazing beers brewed onsite. The Tampa Bay Brew Bus is putting together a Sarasota Pub Crawl to celebrate Tampa Bay Beer Week. We will start at WOB Sarasota at 7pm and travel to North Bridge Tavern, and Legend’s Pub. One pint at each location is included in the $35 ticket price. The Brew Bus will be stocked with complimentary beer as well!! WHEN?
- Saturday, March 9th, 2013. The gates will open at 7:50am. Feel free to line up outside beforehand, but the event will not start till the gates open at 7:50am. We’ll be checking ID’s when you enter the gate, so have your photo ID ready.
- Draft beers will start pouring at 9:00am. That is the earliest we can legally pour beer.
- Breakfast will be made available once the gates open.
- Upon entering you will receive two wristbands: one to show that you’re at least 21 years old and the other to secure your right to purchase Hunahpu’s.
- The bottles of Hunahpu’s will go on sale at 12:00pm, or when the last wristband is handed out, whichever comes first.
