ABOUT THE BEER:
“Aww, come on you guys, it’s so simple. Maybe you need a refresher course: It’s all ball bearings these days.” This traditional lager from Dortmund is highly drinkable, even if the name has little bearing on reality. Bready aromatics meet German noble hops for a delicious lager that falls right between the malty Munich Helles and the hop-forward Pilsner. Brewed to “export” strength with a double decoction mash, it finishes at around 6%, making this one of the strongest premium lagers.
