Join us for our monthly event series “Meet The Brewery!”. Each month we’ll invite one of our favorite breweries to come by and share their knowledge and insight about their brewery, the brewing process and their future plans!
The event kicks off at 6 pm followed by a discussion and Q&A at 6:30 pm. Make sure to RSVP and arrive between 6:00pm and 6:30pm for your chance to get first dibs on swag and even some free beer! Hang afterwards for more personal interaction and fun!
From as far back as 1654 there was undoubtedly some kind of brewing activity going on in the “Appelhoek” in Melle. Leon Huyghe arrived in 1902 and started working at the Appelhoek and purchased it barely 4 years later. He named it “Brouwerij-Mouterij den Appel” and by 1936 had opened an entire complex to accommodate a new brewery. The classic Delirium Tremens was born December 26th, 1988 and from there the brewery has only continued to brew classic and modern beverages for distribution all over the world.
