The Tampa Bay Ale Trail is a fun and great way to experience and support local craft breweries from Sarasota to Brooksville, and as Far East as Lakeland. To use the passport, visit a participating brewery and present the passport when you purchase a beer (pint, flight, and so on). For your purchase, you will receive a “First Visit” passport stamp. Return to this same brewery on a future date, purchase a beer, and you’ll receive a second complimentary beer at that time. The more unique breweries you visit earn you incentives directly from the Ale Trail, collected at one of our Trailhead Meetups. Each year we design a unique dated collectable challenge coin for the final item. Breweries that close will never count against this final prize.
This year we went to print with 81 participating breweries. Sadly, Avid Brew Co has announced that they will be closing on New Year’s Eve 2022. As is always the case breweries that close will not count against the final prize. So while we announced 81 breweries the current total for completion sits at 80.
