This is the yet to be printed 2024 edition. This version of the book will be in the design phase from Sept – November 2023. It is a pre-sale for a not yet printed book. By purchasing the book now you not only ensure your spot on the Trail, but you support its production financially. For both we thank you!

Please only purchase this pre-sale with the understanding that it will most likely ship the first week of December. We can’t possibly ship your order before then since we won’t have them back from production until that time. Historically we have been able to send out all of our pre-orders before the main holiday rush.

The same applies to in person purchasing. Every year we have several breweries and retailers that choose to sell the books on site. They will have them in hand once our pre-orders are fulfilled. They will receive inventory from the same supply we do, and will become available at a yet to be determined date in December. We appreciate your patience during the design phase and will update here and on our socials when they arrive.

About the book:

The Tampa Bay Ale Trail is a fun and great way to experience and support local craft breweries from Sarasota to Brooksville, and as Far East as Lakeland. To use the passport, visit a participating brewery and present the passport when you purchase a beer (pint, flight, and so on). For your purchase, you will receive a “First Visit” passport stamp. Return to this same brewery on a future date, purchase a beer, and you’ll receive a second complimentary beer at that time. The more unique breweries you visit earn you incentives directly from the Ale Trail collected at one of our Trailhead Meetups. Each year we design a unique dated collectable challenge coin with a puzzle that hikers will receive upon completion of the entire Trail. As always, and we can’t emphasize this enough, breweries that close will not count against your completion. It has been and will continue to be our policy to encourage visiting all open breweries and rewarding your support of our local brewing scene.

NEW THIS YEAR!

We were so excited by your response to the 8 region icons, and proud to say we were awarded a Craft Beer Marketing Award for the same, that we are changing the prize structure in 2024. Four prizes used to be rewarded based on number of stamps 20, 40, 60, and 80. Now EIGHT prizes will be redeemed one at time upon completion of each region. For example, close out Dunedin and receive the Dunedin pin. Close out Tampa, receive the Tampa pin. This is a fun new strategy for completing the trail with a whole new set of rewards. These will still be redeemed the same way at monthly meetups. We’ll have lanyards available separately for those ardent collectors that want to show off their efforts. And the style of the region pins will change annually offering a new look each year. Should any brewery close in a particular region missing that stamp will not count against closing out that region.
