January 26, 2021Hello and Happy New Year!
We are back online! We’ve been quiet for a few weeks while working through some tech issues. Long story short, our web server failed us and we had some complications getting our site redesigned on a new server. While it’s still a work in progress, the main functions are now up and running. The community calendar is live and available for your event submissions. The web store is running smoother and more secure than ever before. There’s a new feature with articles and information currently written in-house, but which will soon be open for outside submissions. Despite appearances, behind the scenes we’ve actually been quite busy!
Now that the calendar is available, please feel free to begin submitting your upcoming events. As always, our calendar is an open-ended community forum. We know that Tampa Bay Beer Week will look extremely different this year, but if you’re hosting a tap takeover, socially-distanced beer dinner, bottle release, etc. please submit it so we can help gain some visibility for you! Not an event host but looking for fun and safe things to do? Check back frequently as more events are added.
We also have merch! Since we haven’t had the opportunity to see you as much as we’d like to in person, we decided to put a little more focus on our online store. It’s the permanent home of the Tampa Bay Ale Trail passport, but now you can also find wearables like hoodies and hats, with more being added regularly.
March is coming soon, but we’ll keep going all year. That’s what we like to call ourselves now: Tampa Bay Beer All Year, or TBBAY. It’s not just a motto, but one umbrella to cover Tampa Bay Beer Week (TBBW), the Tampa Bay Ale Trail (TBAT), and whatever new things come our way. We appreciate your support and enthusiasm. Cheers!
